Mr. Leahy has twenty-four years of progressive experience in multiple arenas within the healthcare field.  Mr. Leahy assumed the position of Executive Director for MedPartners Florida MSO in August 1998.  Prior to joining MedPartners, Mr. Leahy was the Chief Financial Officer for Orthodontix, a public PPM.  Mr. Leahy held the position of Chief Financial Officer for PCA Health Plans of Florida, Inc. from May 1995 through December 1997 and worked closely with Mr. Mosquera in restructuring the financial performance of the Florida HMO.  From 1990 through 1995, Mr. Leahy was the Senior Vice President of Finance and Chief Financial Officer for the North Broward Hospital District, the fourth largest Public Hospital System in the United States.  Prior to the North Broward Hospital District Mr. Leahy, was employed for ten years as the Chief Financial Officer for HCA Northwest Regional Hospital.  Mr. Leahy graduated May 1975 with a BA in Accounting from Lycoming College and received an MBA and certification in Healthcare Administration from University of Miami, May 1992.
